Chinese Calligraphy
For centuries, the Chinese literati were expected to master the art of calligraphy. It is the most prestigious art form. Through learning of various scripts (starts by Kaishu) and the styles of distinguished ancient calligraphers, students improve their writing and understanding of Chinese characters and poems. The usage of both ink brushes and calligraphy pens are taught.
